Vier Flugzeugsitze stehen in einem kleinen Raum in der documenta Halle in Kassel. Auf den Rückseiten der Sitze sind Monitore angebracht, die den Kurzfilm "Sincerely, Now Air" in Dauerschleife zeigen. Das Licht, dass durch die Fenster kommt, verändert die Atmosphäre im Raum im Laufe des Tages. Drei Bleistift Skizzen an der Wand verraten eine Winzigkeit über den Prozess des Filmes.
Die Besucher sind eingeladen zu sitzen, sich zu unterhalten. Während der Ausstellung, bleiben sie dort für längere Zeit.
* Four airplane seats stand in a small room in the documenta Halle in Kassel. Monitors are mounted on the backs of the seats, showing the short film “Sincerely, Now Air” in a continuous loop. The light coming through the windows changes the atmosphere in the room over the course of the day. Three pencil sketches on the wall reveal a tiny detail about the process of the film.
Visitors are invited to sit and talk. During the exhibition, they stay there for longer periods of time.
The exhibition will be honored with the cdw Foundation Award on 13.12.2018.
